Read Across America and Peninsula Reads and Writes

This week our schools celebrate Read Across America Week! Read Across America is the nation’s largest celebration of reading! A program from the National Education Association, the celebration is held year-round and is highlighted annually in March. The program focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and resources.

Our elementary schools are celebrating Peninsula Reads and Writes, with an array of literacy-promoting activities at our elementary schools. Our efforts continue to foster a love for reading and writing among learners of all ages.
