Dear Class of 2017 and Parents,
The school year is drawing to a rapid close for the class of 2017. In order to make graduation and the accompanying activities as meaningful as possible, please note the following information:

5/12 FUTURE PLANS: Our district is planning to publish a spread, featuring our graduating seniors. This typically includes a photo, along with awarded scholarships and future plans (college, work, etc.). Graduates will be providing this information in AP Government and Civics classes. If your student is not currently enrolled in one of these courses, please contact Bunky at email@example.com by May 12th to receive the form electronically. NOTE: Scholarship information will be added following the awards assembly on

6/15 SENIORS’ LAST DAY OF CLASSES
6/15 SENIOR CHECK OUT FORM: On Tuesday, June 13th, a form will be distributed in English classes.
Running Start students are also required to turn in this form and will receive theirs in the mail. Completed forms are due to your counselor by 2:15 PM on Thursday, June 15th. No appointments are necessary on this day, just drop in. YOU MUST RETURN THIS COMPLETED FORM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN GRADUATION REHEARSAL AND THE GRADUATION CEREMONY.

the GHHS Auxiliary Gym. 5 free admission tickets per graduating senior will be distributed. Additional

Regarding graduation attire, please wear something that is appropriate and comfortable under your graduation gown. You are advised against jackets and extra sweaters that could be bulky and get warm during the ceremony. Purses/bags/phones are not carried.

The mailing address you provide will be the address the diploma is sent to. Diplomas are one-of-a-kind, so please make sure you enter the correct address. We cannot re-print diplomas.
SENIOR FINES: All fines must be paid in order to receive a diploma. See the bookkeeper for the fine list.
DISCIPLINE: The Peninsula School District considers participation in Commencement exercises and related activities as a ceremonial privilege granted to students and not a right to which they are entitled. Therefore, any student who is withdrawn from school or placed on suspension for exceptional misconduct, per District Policy 3200, during the fourth quarter of the senior year may not be allowed to attend Senior Prom and/or Commencement exercises. This includes his/her behavior at all school functions, including year-end activities and Senior Prom.
If you have any questions about the above information, you are welcome to call the main office at
