Here is some information you need to know:
The school year is drawing to a rapid close for the class of 2018. In order to make graduation and the accompanying activities as meaningful as possible, please note the following information:
4/23 WALKING PARTNERS: To sign up for a graduation walking partner, seniors need to stop by and see Mrs. Martin in the main office, starting on April 23rd. Both partners should be present to sign up and agree to the match-up. Students not paired up by June 1st will
be assigned a partner.
4/30 FUTURE PLANS: Our district is planning to publish a spread, featuring our graduating seniors. This typically includes a photo, along with awarded scholarships and future plans (college, work, etc.). Graduates will be providing this information in AP Government and
Civics classes. If your student is not currently enrolled in one of these courses, you will receive the form electronically, through School Messenger. Please return the completed form by May 7. NOTE: This deadline has been extended from April 30. Scholarship information will be added following the awards assembly on May 22nd.
5/22 SCHOLARSHIP ASSEMBLY: This assembly is for seniors (and families) who have submitted scholarship notebooks. It is scheduled for 6:30 PM on May 22nd, in the GHHS Main Gym.

Therefore, any student who is withdrawn from school or placed on suspension for exceptional misconduct, per District Policy 3200, during the fourth quarter of the senior year may not be allowed to attend Senior Prom and/or Commencement exercises. This includes his/her behavior at all school functions, including year-end activities and Senior Prom.
