This spring, PSD High Schools were well represented and successful at the State Level.

Boys Tennis –WIAA All Academic State Champions for the Spring of 2019 with highest team GPA in the spring
Boys Track and Field – 2nd Place
Girls Water Polo – 2nd Place
Baseball – 3rd Place

Girls Track and Field

-Girls 4x100 Meter Relay 6th Place

PHS Team Results:
All Spring Sports, except for one, went to post-season at Peninsula. That must be a record!
*PHS Baseball made it to the top 8 in state after not even making it to post season last year.
*Boys Soccer advanced to state and lost to undefeated Bellevue after a double overtime game.
*Girls Tennis were SSC and District Champions and placed at state in both singles and doubles.
*Track and field- Girls track were District Runner up. The team as a whole advanced 14 boys and girls to state with several state placers highlighted by both Linsey Lovrovich and Mason Hyde placing 2nd in their events.
*Boys Golf had SSC and District Champion Preston Bebich place 6th at State and is the Tacoma Athletic Commission (TAC), Athlete of the Year for Golf.
*Girls Golf were SSC and District Champions and went on to place fourth at state for the second consecutive year.
*Girls water polo advanced to post season for the first time in program history.
