Kindergarten Registration for the 2016-17 School Year is Open!

The Peninsula School District offers FREE full day Kindergarten, 5 days a week at all elementary schools! Registering your child early offers the best opportunity to receive communication about summertime school events and to receive Kindergarten specific information.

We are excited to meet you and your Kindergartner! Please download the forms listed below or pick-up a Kindergarten Registration packet at your designated neighborhood elementary school. Please submit all forms to the Main Office of your neighborhood school during regular office hours (8:30am – 4pm) through June 30th and August 17 onward.

Eligibility Requirements

Children who are 5 years old on or before August 31, 2016 and reside within the Peninsula School District are eligible to register for Kindergarten.

Please bring the following items when registering your child:

  • Birth certificate
  • Immunization records
  • Proof of address (We only accept a utility bill. No lease agreements)
  • The following registration forms
    (or pick up a Kindergartner Registration Packet in the school office.)

Transfer Requests

Parents wishing to transfer to another elementary school will need to register at their neighborhood school (school of residence). Then, an in-district transfer request will need to be completed by April 30th. Transfers are granted on a space available basis with notification of the decision to families by the end of June.
