K & A’s Haborchat Bio
…informing our listeners of community events, nonprofit organizations, and happenings throughout the Key Peninsula/Gig Harbor region.
Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00pm
The goal of Harborchat is to both provide information, but also to encourage participation in volunteering in the community. Along with the weekly interview, there is an eclectic playlist and repartee between the co-hosts who happen to be brother and sister.
Alastair Fordyce aka A-Dog is a relative newcomer to Gig Harbor. A-Dog is a retired airline pilot who brings a wide perspective having lived across the country and traveled throughout the world. He is highly read on a variety of topics from technical articles to politics to zeitgeist doings!
Kyle Lytle aka KittyKat has lived in the harbor for the past 30 years. The Kat retired from Gig Harbor High as a school counselor. Having raised a son in the community she brings a uniquely personal and professional view to the program.
Together they have a unique slant on both the area and the topics that are covered. Their slightly irreverent, stream of consciousness opening of the show is counterbalanced by in depth interviews which never fail to inspire.
