SBA Math testing begins TODAY for all sophomores and those juniors and seniors who have not already passed. Testing will take place in geometry classes except for those students in an Algebra 1 or higher class. See the testing posters around school for your student number and testing date and location. Today begins Auto Safety Week here at PHS. Distracted driving refers to the act of driving while engaged in other activities, such as, drowsiness, texting, and eating. Join us during both lunches for Awareness Activities.

At Henderson Bay Big Picture, we want empowered, compassionate and curious students. We are a small, student-centered environment where real-world learning focused on student’s personal interests. Now is your chance to get in on the next big adventure with the PHS Spanish classes for Spring Break 2020. Practice our Spanish while immersing yourself in Dominican culture and enjoy high adventure in a Caribbean paradise of volcanos, waterfalls and beaches. Due to SBA testing all week, Thank-you Note Turn-in Day has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 29. Representatives will be in the PHS library from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm to accept them. Please read through the instructions included with your scholarship awards. If you are unable to submit a thank you note on the 29th, you MUST contact the scholarship committee to make other arrangements.
Graduation tickets are now available in the front office. Each senior receives five free, and extra are $1 each. Cash or check only. Tickets will also be available for sale at the door on the day of graduation.
Attention all Track & Field athletes! Please “bag & tag” your uniform if you are not competing at the district meet. Bring it to Mr. Hall in room 604 as soon as possible to avoid a HUGE fine on your account.
Girls interested in playing volleyball for PHS next fall, there will be a mandatory meeting after school this Wednesday in the girls’ aux locker room. There will be important information to discuss upcoming events. An open gym will follow for those able to participate.
