SBA Math testing begins next Monday for all sophomores and those juniors and seniors who have not already passed. Testing will take place in geometry classes except for those students in an Algebra 1 or higher class. See the testing posters around school for your student number and testing date and location. PHS will be acknowledging Auto Safety Week beginning Monday, May 20. Distracted driving refers to the act of driving while engaged in other activities; such as, drowsiness, texting, and eating. Applications are now being accepted for Henderson Bay Big Picture School for students interested in a Fall 2019 start. At Henderson Bay Big Picture, we want empowered, compassionate and curious students. We are a small, student-centered environment where real-world learning focused on student’s personal interests. Become a Camp Leader! – Help lead a summer camp and have fun this summer with PenMet Parks. With over 15 camps to choose from, you are sure to have a great time. Earn volunteer hours and learn how to be a leader. Camp Leader Training will be on Saturday, June 22. Sign up at penmetparks.org.
Graduation tickets are now available in the front office. Each senior receives five free, and extra are $1 each. Cash or check only. Tickets will also be available for sale at the door on the day of graduation.
Registrations are now open for the Peninsula Summer Fitness Program. If you plan to participate in a sport next year or just want to get in better shape this program is for you!
