Peninsula High School believes that interscholastic sports and activities promote sportsmanship and citizenship. The athletic/activity programs instill pride in school, community, teach lessons for life, self discipline, and develops students physically and emotionally.
Activities/athletics are an extension of a solid educational program. Research shows that students who participate in activities/athletics tend to maintain higher grade point averages, better attendance, and fewer discipline problems.
Participation in Peninsula High School activity/athletic program is a valuable part of a student’s high school career.

|September 29th||Family ID opens for Winter sports registrations. (Register early! See Alert Below!)|
|October 29th||First Day of Practice for Girls Bowling (Must have good physical (see below) Pay to Play and ASB paid to be cleared!)|
|November 12th||First day of practice for all other Winter sports (Boys & Girls Basketball, Boys Swim & Dive, Wrestling). (Must have good physical (see below) Pay to Play (non-cut sports) and ASB paid to be cleared!)*ALERT! THIS DATE IS THE OBSERVANCE OF VETERANS DAY. THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL. THE ATHLETICS OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED. FAMILY ID WILL CLOSE NOVEMBER 8TH FOR CLEARANCES.|
|Remember all students must have a physical that will last through the state championship for their sport before their registration will be approved. Check with your doctor! All Fees and Fines must be paid to be cleared. Check the student portal.|
