Are You Aware of the Fabulous Scholarship Program at PHS?
The Peninsula Hawks Scholarship Fund owns and operates the SAVE Thrift Store located below Peninsula High School. A full-time business in operation for over 30 years, the thrift store alone accounts for nearly $100, 000 in awards each year. PHS activity groups can earn scholarship money and incidental funds for themselves by volunteering at the thrift store.
The scholarship program is run by a committee of present and past PHS parents which meet the second Monday evening of each month that school is in session. The meetings start at 6:00 p.m. in the faculty break room at Peninsula High and last about an hour and a half.
The scholarship awards assembly is Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 6:30 PM in the PHS Auditorium. Donor check-in begins at 5:00 pm in the PHS library, student check-in is at 6:00 pm.
