It’s not too early to start thinking about summer! The Peninsula School District Summer School Programs can give students a boost or help them catch up.
Credit Recovery Courses are offered at Henderson Bay High School in English (9-11), Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Biology, and social studies courses. Students may make up .5 credit in a course that they failed or in which they received an incomplete. Most classes are taught by PSD teachers using currently adopted materials. This is an excellent opportunity to regain credit but also to learn the skills needed in order to move on to the next course in the fall. Transportation is available. Classes are held beginning July 8 and continue until August 1, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Enrollment forms and more information is available in the Counseling Office or at https://psd401.net/summer-school Phone 253-530-3950 for more information.
Peninsula Internet Academy (PIA) will be offering standard credit earning opportunities over the summer. If you are interested in taking CCFE, Health, PE, or another offering, be sure to sign up.
