Richart Flores may be new to his role, but he comes with a rich skill set and a passion for customer service that will be an asset to the Peninsula School District.
“This job is about customer service. It’s a good match for my skills because I like variety and I like to work around people” says Richart. Although it hasn’t happened yet, he likes that he may run into his own kids during the course of a work day. On a typical day, Richart may do some plumbing, electrical, wood work, and more. He said in every project, it’s important to pay attention to the details and quality. The work calls for both independence, the ability to work in a team.
Patrick Gillespie, Director of Maintenance says, “Richart exemplifies the typie of person we want to hire. He’s excited about helping. He’s off to a great start. He is very professional, personable, energetic and has a strong skill set.”
Richart has a son, Kevin, who is about to graduate from Peninsula High School and a daughter, Kateh, who attends Vaughn Elementary. He and his wife, Priscyla have been in Gig Harbor for 11 years.
