Update emergency contact information
Make sure you are able to receive communications from your school in the event of an emergency. Emergency Contact Updates can be completed online! This process replaces the paper forms sent home at the beginning of each school year. Please complete and/or update the form as soon as possible, but no later than September 30, 2019. You can email: email@example.com to ask any general questions about the form or the Emergency Contact Update process.
Open house information
An open house is a great way to see your student’s classroom, meet teachers, and ask questions.
Not sure about what supplies your student needs? We have you covered.
Peninsula School District uses an online system called Peachjar to relay information to staff, students and families about nonprofit community services and activities. This electronic flyer delivery system is part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, reduce paper copies, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility. You can see the flyers here and click on the Peachjar button on the bottom of your school website to see flyers just for your school.
Low-cost internet options
Many students and families depend on the Internet, whether at school or at home, to help with homework, search for jobs, access financial or government services and much more. Internet access at home is critical to ensuring that your child is connected to online assignments, classmates and teachers.
This is why we would like you to know about three low-cost Internet options that are available for families who are eligible for the National School Lunch Program, receive HUD housing assistance, or are a low-income veteran who receives state and/or federal assistance.
In addition to the resources listed above, organizations and business within the Peninsula District have opened up their businesses and agreed to support our students with free Wi-Fi. Visit psd401.net/wifi to access the interactive Free Wi-Fi Directory.
If none of these options will work for your family, please contact your child’s school directly as other options may be available.
