Job Application FAQ

  • To retrieve your username and/or password, go to the main login screen. Below the “Log In” button, click on “Forgot your username/password.” Enter the email address associated with your account. Your username and password will be emailed to you. If you don’t see the email in your Inbox, check your Bulk/Spam/Junk folder.

  • When you click the link, a new window should open for FastTrack, PSD’s online application system. If nothing happens, your computer may be blocking pop-ups. To fix this, look for a message at the top of your screen that says "allow pop-ups from this site" and click it. If you don't see that option, you may need to adjust your security settings to allow pop-ups. This will enable you to log in and view open positions.

  • If you are not able to scan and attach your documents to the application please contact Human Resources for assistance at (253) 530-1011. 

  • If you receive an email stating your application is incomplete, it means the application was unfinished or not submitted. To complete it, ensure all questions are answered and click “Submit to HR” on the main page. If you didn’t submit your application before the deadline, it wasn’t received. To avoid this in the future, make sure you answer every question and press “Submit to HR.” You can still make changes to your application until the closing date and time, even after submitting it.

  • Each job posting specifies the documents you need to include with your application. For most certificated/administrative positions, attaching documents is mandatory; failing to do so will remove you from the applicant pool. We only accept electronic files, so make sure your documents are in digital format. File size limits are generous, but if you encounter issues, try saving your file in a smaller format. For confidential Placement Files, we recommend sending them electronically to Human Resources to be attached to your application.

  • When you click on the drop-down box, a list of default locations/degrees will appear. At the top of the list, you'll see “new value not on list.” Selecting this option will allow you to type in your specific information directly.
