In-District Transfer Applications Open April 1

Applications for in-district transfers for the 2025-26 school year will open on April 1, 2025. If you want your child to go to a school that is not their assigned school, please submit a transfer request.

Important details:
  • You can find applications at all schools, the district office, or download them from our website.
  • Send completed applications to the Chief of Schools at the District Office, 14015 62nd Ave NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98332.
  • We approve transfers based on how much space is available, how many teachers we have, and what educational programs we need.
  • We recommend that you send your application early. We often decide who gets approved based on how much space is available.

As a reminder, all students must go to the school in their neighborhood. They can only go to a different school if the school district approves it. The school district may also move students to different schools if needed for programs or to make sure there are enough students in each school.
