Committee Opportunities
Peninsula School District values community input and expertise through our Citizens' Advisory Committees and Task Forces. These volunteer opportunities offer residents a meaningful way to help shape effective policies, programs, and practices that support positive student outcomes.
Committee members serve two-year terms and must be residents of the Peninsula School District. Meetings are held regularly and are open to the public. Ideal committee members attend all meetings, examine available evidence before making judgments, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively to reach consensus.
The Superintendent appoints members through an application process, with vacancies posted on the District website. Current committee members seeking reappointment must reapply.

Interest Application for PSD Capital Bond Planning Task Force
The Long Range Facilities Advisory Committee made recommendations for future facility work, and Peninsula School District is now seeking volunteers to review the committee's findings as members of PSD's new Capital Bond Planning Task Force (CBPTF).
Community members, staff, and individuals interested in facilities planning or in the facilities field are encouraged to apply to join the task force. We are seeking a geographically diverse group of volunteers from across the district. The purpose of the task force is to conduct informal research, investigations and surveys and make recommendations to best serve the interests of students, families and PSD.
