Running Start Info Sessions with Tacoma Community College

Is your high school student interested in getting a head start on college? Tacoma Community College is hosting virtual Running Start information sessions this spring!

What is Running Start?
Running start allows 11th and 12th grade students to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously, tuition free! Students can potentially earn an associate's degree by high school graduation, accelerating their educational journey.

Virtual Info Sessions (Via Zoom):
  • 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11
  • 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9
  • 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 1
What families should know:
  • Open to high school students and family members
  • No tuition costs (students are responsible for college fees, books, and transportation)
  • Great way to experience college-level coursework while still in high school
Join the virtual sessions via Zoom at this link

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how your student can challenge themselves academically while saving time and money on their college education. We encourage all interested families to attend.
