Gig Harbor High School

We are thrilled to announce that Bob Marshall will be joining the Gig Harbor High School team as the new Principal.

Bob brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his new role, having served most recently as Principal at North Kitsap High School after being one of the Assistant Principals there for five years. His extensive background includes serving as Principal at Ketchikan High School and Ketchikan Charter School in Alaska, as well as Principal at Emmonak School in the remote village of Emmonak, Alaska. He began his teaching career as a high school social studies teacher and even taught for one year at Peninsula High School before going into school administration.

"We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Marshall back to the Peninsula School District family," said Superintendent Bahr. "Throughout the selection process, Bob demonstrated an exceptional commitment to student success, innovative educational approaches, and collaborative leadership that aligns perfectly with our district's mission and values."

"I am extremely honored to be the next principal of Gig Harbor High School. Gig Harbor is where I call home and I'm excited to work in my community and where my kids attend school. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together at GHHS! ROLL TIDES!" he shared.

Please join us in welcoming Bob Marshall to Gig Harbor High School. We look forward to the positive impact he will undoubtedly have on our school community.
